Swivel locks turn swivel casters in to rigid casters in a snap! Simply pull on the ring, twist, release and you have a rigid caster. Pull it back out, twist again, and release and your caster can swivel freely. This may not sound that important, but if you have ever pushed a cart with four swivel casters, it is.
