The Albion 110AN08228R01 rigid caster features a 8" x 2" wide wheel and a 4 1/2" x 4" top plate, capable of a 1500 lb. capacity per caster. This trusted kingpinless series features a precision machined large raceway, 5/16" thick AISI 1045 steel top plate, and fully heat-treated construction, making it an the ideal solution for applications exposed to rugged conditions or high amounts of impact and shock. More durable than competitors’ case or induction hardened construction, and longer lasting than conventional kingpin designs. Kingpinless heavy-duty casters are built to handle shock and impact better than traditional kingpin casters, as it eliminates the most common area of caster failure in rugged applications: the kingpin (which can get strained and stretched due to the impact or shock load).
